*AVIATION NOTE: The aviation morning classroom work will be followed by a hands on session to complete the merit badge. The hands on session will be conducted at the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport at the end of the day. All participants will depart the Front Range Community College at 4:45 pm and meet their instructor at the airport at 5:15 pm. The session is expected to finish at 6:45 pm. All participants must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult as we will be entering a restricted area in order to reach the hangers. More detailed information and a map will be provided to all participants during the morning classroom sessions.

COMPLETION CLINIC NOTES: The 2019 Valley Merit Badge College Completion Clinic will be held in the sign in/registration room at Front Range Community College on Saturday afternoon during periods 4 and 5. This clinic is free to all Scouts who have registered for the 2019 Valley Merit Badge College. Counselors will be available to review and sign off the work that a Scout has done to complete any partially completed merit badges. There is no limit as to the number of partially completed merit badges that a Scout may bring to the Completion Clinic. When registering online for the 2019 Valley Merit Badge College and selecting classes, Scouts wanting to participate in the completion clinic should also select "Completion Clinic". Scouts who are registered for the 2019 Merit Badge College may bring documentation for partially completed merit badges that were started outside the Merit Badge College such as at summer camp, other events, or individually. It is necessary that the Scouts bring their 3 part form from a prior merit badge college, a blue card or other documentation of a partially completed merit badge. We highly recommend that Scouts download and use the merit badge worksheets from www.meritbadge.org to write down their answers to questions or other work needed to complete any outstanding requirements. We also recommend that Scouts bring photographs to document things such as visiting the state capital for the Citizen in the Nation or others. PARTIAL MERIT BADGES: We make every effort to complete all merit badges that we offer at the Valley Merit Badge College. However, some merit badges have requirements that cannot be completed solely in a classroom setting. We are currently planning a completion clinic for the Spring of 2020 and will encourage Scouts with partially completed merit badges to complete any outstanding work and come to the completion clinic. Counselors will be available to review the Scouts' work and sign off any partial merit badges.

PREREQUISITES: The key to completing merit badges at the College is having the prerequisites completed prior to coming to class. You can find an updated list of merit badges and prerequisites posted online at www.valleymbc.org.
