    This course is being held in conjunction with the Valley District Merit Badge College at Front Range Community College, 3645 W. 112th Avenue, Westminster, CO  80031.

    The purpose of Scoutmaster Position-Specific training is to provide an active, fun, and positive learning experience for new and experienced Scoutmasters to learn and apply proven techniques for running an effective Boy Scout troop.  Scoutmasters will learn how to meet the aims of Scouting by applying the eight methods of Boy Scouting program during the four main sessions of the courses:

    • Patrol Method
    • Support Team
    • Advancement
    • Annual Planning

    What to Bring

    • Leader Specific Handbook
    • Note-taking materials

    You will also need to complete the online Hazardous Weather Training (SCO_800) prior to attending and bring proof that it has been completed as this is a requirement for this position.
